Have you ever thought about giving up some of your free time to become an adult volunteer or leader?
We're always on the look out for people to help with running the group, from working with the committee, to driving the mini-bus to teaching a skill, to helping run a section.
At present we have vacancies for the following roles, but if you'd like to help but don't fancy taking on a full role please do get in touch.
All volunteers working, or in contact, with young people need to be CRB checked and provide references. For more details of the Scout Associations Child Protection Policy (The Yellow Card / Young People First) click here. The Scout Association offers a full training program for all adult volunteers, and you will be supported through this process by a Training advisor, for more details on training click here.
Baden-Powell once said, "Scouting is not a science... it is a great game." Enjoy the game, have fun helping others and thank you for considering becoming a Leader and contributing to the lives of young people.
Under 18?
If you're under 18 and would like to help out, then the Young Leaders scheme is for you .
